Professor Canter has supervised more than 50 Ph.Ds in the fields of Investigative Psychology and Environmental Psychology.
Prof Canter enjoys supervising outstanding individuals from around the world. His team typically includes senior police and other professionals.
His current doctoral intake includes students based in Barbados, India and USA as well as the UK team. With Professor Canter and Dr Youngs, these individuals are carrying out studies on topics from homicide detective decision-making,detection of deception, geographical profiling, terrorism, hijacking and kidnapping to serial rape investigation and fraud.
